What to expect with Neurodiversity Coaching
What coaching is:
Coaching is a collaborative and strengths-based process designed to help you align your behaviours, habits, and mindset with the outcomes and personal growth that matter most to you. It works through increased self-awareness, accountability, and intentional action - evoking real, sustainable transformation.
Neurodiversity-informed coaching recognises that brains work in diverse ways. Whether you're navigating ADHD, ASD, AuDHD, or another neurodivergent profile, coaching supports you in understanding how your unique neurotype influences motivation, focus, planning, emotional regulation, and follow-through.
Rather than trying to "fix" deficits, this approach builds self-understanding, self-compassion, and practical strategies that work with your brain - not against it. We strengthen executive-function skills like time management, organisation, working memory, task initiation, and emotional regulation in ways that are sustainable and meaningful to you specifically.
“Coaching begins with the understanding that you are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole. My role is to draw out your own wisdom and capacity through inquiry, curiosity, and structured reflection - helping you stretch into your best self.”
Coaching vs therapy
Coaching is not therapy, counselling, or medical treatment. While coaching may explore patterns and emotions that affect daily life and relationships, it does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If you or your child needs a formal assessment or clinical support, I can help point you in the right direction - but that falls outside of my coaching scope.
